While Dan and I met multiple times before, our love story begins in Jackson, WY on top of Snow King Mountain, the Summer of 2022, at the first King Concert featuring Duane Betts and Friends who played Allman Brothers covers while looking out over the Teton Mountains. Truly a magical setting! Later that week Dan decided to ask me out.Our first weekend hanging out included a side-by-side ride out to Mosquito Creek where Dan showed me vistas of the Tetons and pointed out the Wyoming State flower, the Indian Paintbrush. He played music and danced with me in the wilderness. It's fair to say we were both smitten.My parents came in town a couple weeks later and I decided to be bold and ask if Dan would like to meet them, he enthusiastically agreed, it was around that time I was sure we'd get married.A few years of dating later, we have seen each other through multiple moves, job changes, and major life events and our love has only grown deeper.In November, Dan got down on a knee down at the fire-pit in our backyard in Victor, ID. He completely caught me by surprise and asked me to marry him... I enthusiastically agreed!Our love story started in Jackson, WY and has flourished in Teton Valley, ID. We are excited to share this special place with you, our closest friends and family!

Welcome to the Tetons! This is one of the most beautiful places on the planet, please enjoy the National Parks and National Forest in the area! Be safe, be bear aware! Carry water and bear spray on any outdoor adventure... Toto, we're not in the southeast anymore! *Bear spray can be purchased at any outdoor outfitter, or most grocery stores.

Fishing

The areas of Jackson Hole, WY and Teton Valley, ID are known as some of the top fishing areas, visited by anglers from all over the world. Find a fishing guide through <a href="https://worldcastanglers.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">World Cast</a> located in Victor, <a href="https://snakeriverangler.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Snake River Anglers</a> in Jackson, or many other outfitters in the area. Your guide can help with gear and planning your adventure, whether wading or floating down the Snake River, South Fork, Henry's Fork, or the Teton ... and the list goes on! Book sooner than later :)

Hiking

<a href="https://www.fs.usda.gov/r04/bridger-teton/recreation/phillips-bench-trailhead" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Phillips Bench Trailhead</a> - Located on Teton Pass, and easily accessible from Jackson or Victor, this winding hike is on the easier side, while still providing some challenging assents. A 2.5 mile hike up, you'll arrive to Ski Lake, a lovely alpine lake, with stunning views along the way. This is one of Sara Ann's favorite hikes! <a href="https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/wyoming/coal-creek-meadows" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Coal Creek Trails</a> – Easy parking access right off the Teton Pass, you can access multiple trails with wildflower meadows, Teton views, and multiple levels of difficulty. <a href="https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/idaho/moose-creek-trail-short-version" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Moose Creek Trail</a> – The Moose Creek Trail (Short Version) offers a pleasant hike along Moose Creek, with a gradual climb that leads to a bridge crossing over the creek. The trail follows a contour line, and as you ascend, the views open up, revealing picturesque ponds surrounded by wildflowers. <a href="https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/wyoming/snow-king-summit-via-slow-trail" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Snow King Summit Trail</a> - Located right in the town of Jackson, Snow King is the local playground with steep ski runs in the winter, and challenging hiking and mountain biking in the summer. The Summit trail is a 5.1 mile hike to the top, and the reward is a breathtaking vista and the option to take the scenic gondola back down. <a href="https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/wyoming/josie-s-ridge-trail" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Josie’s Ridge Trail</a> - on the side of Snow King Mountain, this 5.1-mile hard trail with 1,650 feet of ascent, connects to the Jackson Hole Community Pathway and provides access to the summit. <a href="https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/wyoming/cache-creek-and-hagens-trail-loop" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Cache Creek</a> - The first part of the trail ascends through forests and meadows, while the second part descends and follows Cache Creek back to the trailhead. The trail is well-shaded and offers great views of the Tetons. Parking is available at the trailhead. Hiking through Grand Teton National Park is incredible, refer to the parks website or any rangers in the park for more information. For all hikes please reseach and know where you are going. <a href="https://www.alltrails.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Alltrails</a> is a great resource!

Grand Teton National Park

<a href="https://www.nps.gov/grte/index.htm" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Grand Teton National Park</a> offers some of the most iconic mountain scenery in the country, and we are privilaged to have such close access. For a simple and rewarding outing, the trails around <a href="https://www.nps.gov/grte/planyourvisit/stringleighplan.htm" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">String Lake</a>, <a href="https://www.nps.gov/grte/planyourvisit/jennylakeplan.htm" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Jenny Lake</a> or Taggart Lake that provide beautiful views without requiring a full-day commitment. A drive through the park is just as worthwhile, with plenty of <a href="https://www.nps.gov/grte/planyourvisit/drives.htm" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">scenic drives</a> and picture perfect pull - offs. Local tip: Grab a bite and a beer after a day of adventure for epic Teton views just outside the south entrance, at <a href="https://dornans.com/dining/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Dornan's</a>.

Mountain Resorts

We are home to three epic mountian resorts, Jackson Hole Mountian Resort (Teton Village, WY) Snow King (Jackson, WY) and Grand Targhee (Alta, WY - access via Driggs, ID), well known for deep powder and steep slopes in the winter, the summer action is just as epic! Take in the valley by riding the aerial tram at JHMR, and then enjoy some time dining or shopping in Teton Village, stop in the Mangy Moose for nachos and a fun time, don't forget to grab a souvenir from the gift shop on the way out! In Jackson, find your way to Snow King - the intown resort (you can see the slopes from town square!). Known as the town treadmill for keeping people fit through all the seasons, the hikes up Snow King are shorter, but mighty! For a slower pace, head to the Alpine Slide or Cowboy Coaster for some fun rides, or ride up the gondola for incredible views of town and the Grand! Views of the Tetons are almost more epic on "the sunny side" of the hill, in Idaho! Drive through Driggs, ID crossing over the state line into Alta, WY, where you'll find <a href="https://www.grandtarghee.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Grand Targhee Resort</a>. Here you can enjoy <a href="https://www.grandtarghee.com/activities-events/activity-finder/multi-use-trails-guided-hikes-bikes" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">fun family friendly hikes</a> with BIG Teton views!

Activities

Victor and Driggs

Victor is a beautiful small town, with one stop light, and many fields. It's idilic and western, and we hope you love it! We encourage you to explore the area into Driggs or Jackson, but while you are here....enjoy breakfast at Butter, BBQ from Big Hole BBQ, and get yourself a burger or a plate of meats at The Knotty Pine - with lovely outdoor seating in the summer! Find a local beer and sit out on the lawn at Grand Teton Brewing. You can grab your essentials (as well as wine and beer) and a sandwich for the road at the Victor Valley Market, and satisfy your sweet tooth with a Browntrout or Grasshopper milkshake at the Victor Emporium. Driggs is considered the "Big City"! Also with one stop light, Driggs does offer more dining and shopping opportunities, including a super market, Broulim's! Get yourself a coffee and a world class pastry at Wydaho Roasters and mellow out later with a glass of wine and a snack in the courtyard at Maison. If you want to get into some shopping, visit Soulstice for curated thrifting, or prep for your alpine adventure at Yostmark. For dinner, our go to is Teton Thai. The food, the service, and the vibe are top tier - You must try the fried dumplings and cashew nut beef! In the same building you'll find rooftop pizza at Tetonka Tavern. Across the street, enjoy sneaky good sushi from a sister restaurant of the famous Jackson location, King Sushi.

Jackson

While we no longer live in Jackson, we still feel strong ties to the town and the community. Here's a bit of what we recommend in town. Town Square: Enjoy a day trip to Jackson and be sure to walk around on the boardwalk sidewalks along the ships and restaurants in town square. Notice the famous antler arches at the four corners of the square, and gather for a nightly "shoot out" production on the one of the corners, at 6pm. Shopping: If you want to bring home a mommento from your trip, this is the place to find it. You can get a pressed penny, a moose stuffie, or a Jackson Hole hoodie. Snag some locally designed outdoor clothing at Stio, and stop by New West Knives if you find yourself needing a locally made (in Victor!) chef knife. Find the perfect cowboy hat at Beaver Creek or Kimo Sabe if you really want to ball out! Shop for beautiful clothing at Piper JH, Altitude and the Belle Cose shops, and find your vintage pieces from Women Folk. Stop by Made for handcrafted gifts, and JC Jewelers for something special to take home :) Grocery Shopping: In Jackson, you can find your supermarket grocery stores, Albertson's, Whole Food and Smiths (Kroger). You can also find pharmaceutical items at Smith Drug, Target, Albertsons or Smiths. For food:Breakfast / CoffeeCowboy Coffee - In the square and drive through south of downtown, good strong coffeePersephone: Instagramable vibes, good for a specialty coffee and a breakfast bite.Cafe Genevieve - Sit down breakfast with a Southern flareNora's Fishcreek Inn - Located in Wilson, at the base of the Teton Pass, Nora's is a local staple. Get a cup of coffee with the local paper and you'll fit right in!Pearl Street Bagels - with two locations in Jackson and one in Driggs, PSB offers a grab and go style bagel, boiled to perfection - according to them - do not ask them to toast your bagel. (Local tip: If you are staying in a house, grab a half dozen with a tub of cream cheese and toast to your heart's desire!) Lunch / DinnerGlorietta Trattoria - Sara Ann and Dan's favorite restaurant in Jackson offers cool Italian vibes and even better italian dining. You can usually snag a spot at the bar for two, but reservations are highly recommended. The shaved veggie salad is divine, and you will not go wrong with any of the pastas, although the fusili and cassarecchi are fan favorites. Paired with a Negroni and bottle of Nebbiolo, you will leave feeling great!The Bistro - The Bistro is loved by tourists and locals alike. Located off the square in the Cloudveil hotel, it is highly encouraged to hit the rooftop first for a cocktail and a veiw and make your way back down for a lovely evening of modern French food and a darn good burger. Don't sleep on the blue cheese olives for your top tier martini!Snake River Grill - Known as "The Grill", this restaurant has been serving upscale mountain fare since the early 90s. Located upstairs right on town square, you'll enjoy a fine steakhouse experience with good service, white table clothes, and a cozy fireplace. This is a great place to try some elk or that juicy steak you have been craving, but don't miss out of the tartar pizza appitizer and the onion rings are highly reccomended. Reservations are hard to come by last minute, so book in advance!The Local - If you are in town for lunch and want a burger, this is where I would suggest you go. The bar area is poppin and always a fun time. In the evenings the steakhouse is open for fine dining as well.Snake River Brewing - Known at the Brew Pub to locals, SRB is a town legend. Brewing since 94', all theStillwest Brewing - Southern fried chicken, a local beer, and a great view up Snow King Mountain... sign me up! This brew pub sits right at the base of the mountain with a huge covered deck with outdoor dining, this makes a great spot to unwind after an adventure. The Bird - Best sports bar in town and happens to be the "Georgia Bar" on Saturdays in the fall! Located south of town with a huge deck and mountain range views, this is a great spot for a drink and some chips and southern white queso. Great for casual dining for a group, you can also try their famous burgers on english muffins! Be sure to read the menu carefully. Healthy Being Juicery - Come here for that healthy pick me up! With grab-and-go juices and delicious bowls, salads, and wraps, "The Juicery" caters to those needing a tasty AND healthy treat!

Summer is the most beautiful (and busiest) season in Teton Valley. Flights, rental cars, and lodging can book up well in advance. If you plan to attend and spend time exploring the region, we recommend making travel arrangements early.

Teton Valley, ID

Teton Valley, Idaho is a rural mountain community just over the Teton Pass from Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Nestled between the Teton Mountains and the Big Hole Mountains, the valley encompasses the towns of Victor, Driggs and Tetonia, Idaho and Alta, Wyoming. It is home to Grand Targhee Ski Resort, and Bridger-Teton National Forest. Our wedding will take place at Linn Canyon Ranch in Victor, Idaho, just down the road from where we live.Victor is a popular place to stay while visiting the region and is approximately 40 minutes from Jackson Hole and about 50 minutes from Grand Teton National Park. Yellowstone National Park is also within driving distance for a longer day trip.Summer is the busiest season in the valley, and flights, rental cars, and lodging tend to book up well in advance. We encourage everyone to come a bit early or stay a little longer and enjoy what this area has to offer, and to plan travel accordingly. We’re looking forward to welcoming you and sharing a place that has become home to us.

Getting Here

Airports:Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) is the closest major airport and is about a 50 minute drive to Victor via Teton Pass. Idaho Falls Regional Airport (IDA) is another option, about 1 hour 10 minutes away.Transportation:Renting a car is recommended, as most lodging, the venue, and nearby attractions require driving.Driving Notes:Teton Pass is scenic and well-maintained in summer, but weather can change quickly—allow extra time when traveling. Feel free to contact Dan or Sara Ann with any questions about travel, transportation, and lodging.

Where to Stay

There are limited accommodations in the area please consider Airbnb or VRBO, as well as, the recommended hotels and vacation rentals below. We encourage people to stay in Victor for convenience to the wedding activities, but feel welcome to stay in Jackson Hole area as well. Do note, there will be transportation provided to and from the venue on the wedding day from hotels listed below and we ask if you do not stay in one of these hotels, consider parking and riding with other guests.

Teton River Float

We would love for any guests that are in town to join us for a Teton River Float. Located in Teton Valley, ID the river runs through both Victor and Driggs. The winding lazy river offers up stunning views of the Tetons and is easily traveled via paddleboard, kayak, canoe, or tube (we prefer paddle boards). Please talk to Dan or Sara Ann for more details.

Music on Main

Join Dan and Sara Ann and other guests for a casual gthering at Music on Main in Victor, thursday evening. Music on Main is a community event held in the town center with live music every Thursday throughout the summer. There is a $5 donation for enterance and food trucks and beverages for purchase once inside.

Join us the night before the wedding for welcome drinks at Teton Reserve Golf Course from 8 - 10.

Ceremony

Our ceremony will be held at Linn Canyon Ranch, with reception to follow. The ceremony will begin promplty at 4pm. Please consider riding on transportation from Bronze Buffulo Club, Teton Valley Resort, or a TBD location in Victor.

Cocktail Hour

Wedding guests will enjoy Cocktails and Appitizers immediately following the ceremony.

Dinner and Reception

Guest will be directed to be seated for dinner beginning around 6:15, reception and dancing to follow until 11pm

Wedding Weekend Events

Think traditional formal wear, but with a western sensibility. Our venue is a western ranch and the ceremony spot will be a 5 minute walk in grass and along a dirt path. Please consider wearing footwear suitable for a ranch setting. Cowboy boots, bolo ties, and cowboy hats welcomed, but not required!
