Welcome to the Tetons! This is one of the most beautiful places on the planet, please enjoy the National Parks and National Forest in the area! Be safe, be bear aware! Carry water and bear spray on any outdoor adventure... Toto, we're not in the southeast anymore!


*Bear spray can be purchased at any outdoor outfitter, or most grocery stores.

Fishing

The areas of Jackson Hole, WY and Teton Valley, ID are known as some of the top fishing areas, visited by anglers from all over the world. Find a fishing guide through World Cast located in Victor, Snake River Anglers in Jackson, or many other outfitters in the area. Your guide can help with gear and planning your adventure, whether wading or floating down the Snake River, South Fork, Henry's Fork, or the Teton ... and the list goes on! Book sooner than later :)

Hiking

Phillips Bench Trailhead - Located on Teton Pass, and easily accessible from Jackson or Victor, this winding hike is on the easier side, while still providing some challenging assents. A 2.5 mile hike up, you'll arrive to Ski Lake, a lovely alpine lake, with stunning views along the way. This is one of Sara Ann's favorite hikes!


Coal Creek Trails – Easy parking access right off the Teton Pass, you can access multiple trails with wildflower meadows, Teton views, and multiple levels of difficulty.


Moose Creek Trail – The Moose Creek Trail (Short Version) offers a pleasant hike along Moose Creek, with a gradual climb that leads to a bridge crossing over the creek. The trail follows a contour line, and as you ascend, the views open up, revealing picturesque ponds surrounded by wildflowers.


Snow King Summit Trail - Located right in the town of Jackson, Snow King is the local playground with steep ski runs in the winter, and challenging hiking and mountain biking in the summer. The Summit trail is a 5.1 mile hike to the top, and the reward is a breathtaking vista and the option to take the scenic gondola back down.


Josie’s Ridge Trail - on the side of Snow King Mountain, this 5.1-mile hard trail with 1,650 feet of ascent, connects to the Jackson Hole Community Pathway and provides access to the summit.


Cache Creek - The first part of the trail ascends through forests and meadows, while the second part descends and follows Cache Creek back to the trailhead. The trail is well-shaded and offers great views of the Tetons. Parking is available at the trailhead.


Hiking through Grand Teton National Park is incredible, refer to the parks website or any rangers in the park for more information.

Grand Teton National Park

Grand Teton National Park offers some of the most iconic mountain scenery in the country, and we are privilaged to have such close access. For a simple and rewarding outing, the trails around String Lake, Jenny Lake or Taggart Lake that provide beautiful views without requiring a full-day commitment. A drive through the park is just as worthwhile, with plenty of scenic drives and picture perfect pull - offs. Local tip: Grab a bite and a beer after a day of adventure for epic Teton views just outside the south entrance, at Dornan's.

Mountain Resorts

We are home to three epic mountian resorts, Jackson Hole Mountian Resort (Teton Village, WY) Snow King (Jackson, WY) and Grand Targhee (Alta, WY - access via Driggs, ID), well known for deep powder and steep slopes in the winter, the summer action is just as epic!


Take in the valley by riding the aerial tram at JHMR, and then enjoy some time dining or shopping in Teton Village, stop in the Mangy Moose for nachos and a fun time, don't forget to grab a souvenir from the gift shop on the way out!


In Jackson, find your way to Snow King - the intown resort (you can see the slopes from town square!). Known as the town treadmill for keeping people fit through all the seasons, the hikes up Snow King are shorter, but mighty! For a slower pace, head to the Alpine Slide or Cowboy Coaster for some fun rides, or ride up the gondola for incredible views of town and the Grand!


Views of the Tetons are almost more epic on "the sunny side" of the hill, in Idaho! Drive through Driggs, ID crossing over the state line into Alta, WY, where you'll find Grand Targhee Resort. Here you can enjoy fun family friendly hikes with BIG Teton views!
